Ed Goren, former Vice Chairman of Fox Sports Media Group, and, prior to that, Executive Producer and President of Fox Sports, was a top sports producer who became a successful and widely respected sports executive. His career extended over five decades, much of it closely linked to the sports fields where he spent so many weekends. He produced an astonishing number of games in virtually every sport; he was the winner of an unprecedented 46 Emmy Awards and was inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame and the Sports Television Hall of Fame. His time as Fox Sports executive producer and president spanned 16 NFL seasons, including five Super Bowls; ten NASCAR campaigns, including eight Daytona 500s; five NHL regular and post-seasons; and four Bowl Championship Series, with three National Championship Games.  In baseball, Goren presided over 15 MLB seasons and 12 World Series.

Jerry Steinberg, who is still referred to as “The Godfather” by his Fox Sports colleagues, Jerry Steinberg is a legendary figure in remote sports production. Logging stints at ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, and Fox during his 35-plus-year career, he was an original member of two startup teams, namely the ones responsible for launching ESPN in 1979 and Fox Sports in 1994.  As a field operations specialist, he worked on four Olympic Games, 13 World Series, and a half dozen Super Bowls. While at Fox, Jerry managed operations for all of Fox’s live broadcasts (upwards of 300 a year), including facilities, manpower, and new technologies. In his spare time, Jerry is likely to be found at the gym; he is a six-time marathon finisher, with a personal best of 4:18.

Wes Simpson has 35 years of experience in the design, development, and marketing of products for video and telecommunication applications. He is President of Telecom Product Consulting, a firm which he founded in 2000 to provide high quality research, marketing, business development, training and product management services to companies wishing to capitalize on the expanding market for high performance video communication products and services. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, and is a regular columnist for TV Technology. Recently, Wes developed and delivered well-received training seminars for the Video Services Forum, the Broadcast Technology Society of the IEEE, and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). He is the author of two books, IPTV and Internet Video (2009) and Video Over IP (2008). Wes serves on the Board of Editors for SMPTE’s Journal of Motion Imaging, and is also a voting member of the Technology and Engineering Emmy Awards Committee of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Jerry Gepner is an experienced business leader and technologist with several awards for his work on major television events ranging from the Olympics and the World Series to space shuttle launches and White House events. His background in broadcasting includes technical, management and executive positions with CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Among other honors, he is the recipient of five Emmy Awards for event coordination and technical excellence, and holds a dozen patents in the fields of virtual imaging and audio technology. He was a founder and COO of Sportvision, a Silicon Valley company that created products that are now ubiquitous in sports television. He joined Tekserve Corporation in 2014 as CEO, and has overseen the transformation of the iconic New York Apple reseller into a service focused retailer and a large and growing B2B specialist, value-added reseller and professional services provider. Under his leadership, the company has completed a series of high-profile, sophisticated digital media projects for their network clients. Previously, as Chief Technology Officer for the Vitec Group, he was responsible for technology strategy and incorporation of technologies into new products across all of the group’s companies. He is an active Advisory Board member of the Sports Video Group, serves on several committees, and is an Advisory Board member for the University of New Haven Sports Management Masters Program.
