A former Delaware Deputy Attorney General, Betsy has defended her clients in fraud and RICO cases, antitrust matters, class actions, and injunctive actions, as well as in high-value disputes with business partners. Betsy has also tried international arbitrations before the London Court of International Arbitration, the American Arbitration Association, and arbitration panels of the National Construction Council of Tanzania. His experience encompasses strategic planning, market/competitive analysis, regulatory affairs, product development and design, project management, system integration, contract negotiation, policy development, budgeting and capital planning. He was instrumental in the development of IP-standards-based TV production and multi-market, multi-tier channel distribution technologies for use in World Class sporting events. He has also been responsible for a great many “firsts,” including first conversion to satellite distribution by a US TV network; first on-air use of MPEG2 compression; first virtualization of TV production; redesign and launch of the first Caribbean HDTV over-the-air broadcast system; and first implementation of digital video networks in Central Europe. He holds numerous current and pending patents related to industry technology applications.
